Sunil Janardhan
Founding Member & Director
Sunil Janardhan is an education entrepreneur and international business leader with more than 30 years of experience across education, training, EdTech, international business development, operations, strategic alliances, and P&L leadership.
Over the course of his career, he has worked across India and international markets spanning South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, CIS markets, and Australasia. His experience includes building new businesses and markets, developing international partnerships, managing multi-location operations, expanding channel and franchise networks, and leading multicultural teams across different stages of organisational growth.
Before SNATIKA, Sunil held senior leadership positions with organisations including Aptech Limited, Kuoni Travel Group India, Universal Learning Services, Kohinoor Technical Institute, and The Investment Trust of India – EdVest.
At Aptech, he progressed through multiple leadership roles before serving as General Manager – International Business, contributing to business expansion across international markets and the development of strategic relationships with universities, technology companies, and institutional partners.
He later headed the Training & Education business at Kuoni Travel Group India, where his responsibilities included business growth, network expansion, institutional collaborations, and operational leadership. His subsequent roles included Director at Universal Learning Services, Vice President – Operations at Kohinoor Technical Institute, and Vice President – Strategic Alliances at ITI EdVest, where he led the education and training funding vertical and managed a substantial portfolio of institutional relationships.
Since 2020, Sunil has been a Founding Member & Director of SNATIKA. He has been closely involved in shaping the organisation from its early stages, including its business model, program portfolio, academic partnerships, international market development, operational systems, learner acquisition, and long-term growth strategy.
His current work focuses on international higher education, executive education, doctoral pathways, institutional partnerships, and developing flexible education models designed for experienced working professionals.
Alongside his corporate and entrepreneurial roles, Sunil has also contributed to management education as a Visiting Faculty at the University of Mumbai's Garware Institute of Career Education and Development, including MBA programs designed for working professionals. His academic engagement has drawn on his experience in marketing, international business, strategy, and business development, enabling him to bring industry-led perspectives into management education.
He holds a PGDBA in International Business from Welingkar Institute of Management (2013–2015) and a Bachelor of Arts from Kakatiya University.
Throughout his career, Sunil has focused on identifying new opportunities, building sustainable education businesses, establishing long-term institutional relationships, and expanding access to professional and higher education across international markets.
